Privacy policy
1. general information
This privacy policy informs you about which personal data is processed when using icPlanner. This includes the website, your user account, training planning, simulators, and the connections to training services you activate.
2. Controller
Responsible for data processing is Indoor Training UG, represented by Philipp Hofmann, Luhnenstr. 12, 30559 Hannover, Germany. Email: info@icplanner.de. Internet: https://icplanner.de
3. User Account and Registration
To register and use your user account, we process your username, email address, password hash, language, and the account and application settings you have made. If you log in using the connected icTrainer login, we also process the necessary account identifiers and contact details. We also use your email address for confirmation, reset, and important service messages.
4. Training, Planning, and Simulation Data
We process the data you enter for your training planning and the use of the simulators. This may include training goals, time periods, training days, performance and body data, training plans, workouts, running and cycling routes, uploaded route data, as well as inputs and results from the simulations. This data is used to provide the plans and calculations you request and to manage them in your account.
5. Connections to Training Services
If you activate a connection to an external training platform, training plans and workouts can be synchronized between icPlanner and that platform. The currently available connections are displayed to you in the connection overview of the application. For these connections, we store the necessary provider identifiers and access tokens securely on our server. You can disconnect a connection in the settings. The processing at the respective provider is additionally subject to its own privacy policy.
6. Payment and Access Verification
To verify a paid access, we match the email address stored with us against customer data at Mollie. We only use read-only API requests for this. We may store the required summaries for access verification, including customers, subscriptions, payments, products, amounts, status, and durations.
7. Matomo
For the statistical evaluation of usage, we use a self-hosted Matomo instance in a protected, non-public server area. Matomo creates a pseudonymous visitor ID and can link recurring visits. It collects information such as visited pages, timestamps, duration of visits, origin, technical device and browser information, as well as an approximate location derived from technical data. No names, email addresses, or icPlanner user IDs are transmitted to Matomo. The evaluation can merge visits on icplanner.de and icplanner.de. Matomo may use cookies or a comparable local storage for the visitor ID.
8. Cookies, Local Storage, and External Content
For technical operation, we use a Flask session cookie and a language selection cookie. For technical error analysis, a randomly generated session identifier is additionally stored in the local browser storage for up to two hours. Depending on the function called, external resources from Google Fonts, jsDelivr, unpkg, and cdnjs are loaded. For the running and cycling maps, Leaflet libraries from unpkg and map tiles from OpenStreetMap are loaded. In this process, technical access data such as IP address, browser information, and referrer may be transmitted to the respective providers. Route data is not directly transmitted to OpenStreetMap for map display.
9. Technical Logging
We use the Logtail/Better-Stack service for error analysis and technical monitoring. This may involve processing technical browser and server data, the local session identifier, requested paths, and depending on the error case, technical account, plan, or connection identifiers. The session identifier is not created as a name or email address.
10. Hosting and Server Operation
icPlanner is operated on a server at Hetzner. The account, training, planning, connection, and simulation data you enter are processed and stored there. Additionally, technical server logs and the session data required for the application may occur there.
11. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to request information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. Any consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. For questions or requests, please contact info@icplanner.de. You can also file a complaint with a data protection authority.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This privacy policy may be adjusted if the functions, services, or legal requirements of icPlanner change. The current version can be found on this page.
